Monthly social assistance is provided to citizens who are not entitled to pension payments and are unable to work. This category includes: children with disabilities under 18 years old, children who have lost one or both parents, individuals with disabilities from childhood, as well as heroic mothers and elderly citizens.
The amount of assistance ranges from 2,000 to 8,000 soms depending on the recipient's category.
The average amount of monthly assistance in the republic currently stands at 6,344.7 soms. As of November 1, 2025, 7.2 million soms have been allocated for the payment of benefits.
The Ministry also noted that the amounts of state benefits for residents of settlements with regional coefficients are calculated taking into account these coefficients, which are applied to wages and other social payments.
