The Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in the Talas region, Ermat Jumayev, stated in a recent interview with the "Kabar" agency that most of the issues raised at previous People's Kurultays have already been resolved, and certain works have been completed.

He noted that the delegates representing Talas primarily raised topics that require funding from the state budget.

“For instance, one of the participants proposed creating a water-regulating reservoir, which would require about 5 billion soms. Local authorities cannot implement such projects independently. A project for the construction of the Talas–Sosnovka road was also proposed. Funding at the republican level is necessary for such large-scale initiatives,” added Jumayev.

The Plenipotentiary emphasized that issues within the competence of local authorities are being addressed directly on-site.

“Some problems require a long-term and phased approach; however, they are under control. We are conducting constant monitoring of the issues raised at previous Kurultays, and deadlines for reporting have been established. Currently, thanks to the efforts of the rural administration, akimats, the city hall, and the regional administration, many problems are being resolved,” he concluded.
