- According to the results of geological exploration conducted in 2025, the Republic of Kyrgyzstan accounted for 1.8 billion tons of coal on its state balance. This was reported by the Minister of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision, Meder Mashiev, on the air of a radio station.

He noted that gold remains the leading mineral on the state account, with current reserves exceeding 980 tons.

Additionally, the balance includes silver reserves, which amount to approximately 1,200 tons, while copper reserves are around 960 thousand tons.

The minister added that besides ore resources, the country also has non-metallic minerals registered, which are accounted for within the framework of the state system for subsoil management.
