On January 7, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, addressed his fellow citizens with congratulations on the occasion of Christmas.

“Dear compatriots!
From the bottom of my heart, I congratulate the Orthodox residents of Kyrgyzstan on this bright and joyful holiday – Christmas!
This holiday embodies eternal spiritual values: mercy, love for one’s neighbor, compassion, and faith in goodness. For centuries, Christmas has been a source of moral inspiration and has strengthened people's aspirations for peace, harmony, and mutual respect.
The Orthodox community of Kyrgyzstan makes an important contribution to maintaining interfaith harmony, spiritual wealth, and cultural diversity in our society. I sincerely appreciate your dedication to the ideals of mutual understanding, unity, and creation for the common good of the country.
On this bright day, I wish you health, happiness, and joy. May peace, warmth, and support for one another reign in every home, and may the Christmas star illuminate the path with good hopes and constructive deeds.
