
The Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic has published important information regarding the schedule of medical institutions during the holiday period.
In order to ensure the availability of medical assistance, from December 30 to 31, 2025, all medical organizations in the country will implement an enhanced working regime. During these days, medical personnel will be on duty, ensuring the readiness of services for emergency and urgent assistance.
In the following period, from January 1 to 9, 2026, during the New Year holidays, medical institutions will operate according to the established schedule with the duty of responsible staff. Round-the-clock provision of emergency assistance, reserving beds for emergencies, as well as the availability of necessary medications and medical supplies will be ensured.
At the level of outpatient care, family medicine centers and general medical practices will have family doctors and nurses on duty from January 1 to 9. Registries will be open from 08:00 to 18:00, and procedure rooms will operate until 14:00.
The emergency medical service in Bishkek, Osh, and the regions of the country will operate around the clock without days off. Continuous operation of air ambulance services and the duty of specialists from the sanitary-epidemiological service and laboratories will also be ensured during the holidays.
The Ministry of Health emphasizes that medical assistance will be provided in full during the New Year holidays and urges citizens to seek help if necessary.
