
From January 1 to January 9, 2026, during the New Year holidays, medical institutions will operate according to an established schedule, organizing duty shifts for responsible specialists. These organizations will ensure round-the-clock provision of emergency medical care, a reserve of beds for the emergency hospitalization of patients will be formed, and necessary medications, medical supplies, and blood components will be prepared.
At the level of outpatient care, family medicine centers and general practice will have family doctors and nurses on duty from January 1 to January 9, and the registration office will operate from 08:00 to 18:00. Procedure rooms will be open until 14:00.
The ambulance service in Bishkek and Osh, as well as in other regions, will operate around the clock without days off. In addition, uninterrupted operation of air ambulance services will be ensured, as well as the duty of specialists from the sanitary-epidemiological service and laboratories during the holiday days.
The Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic emphasizes that during the New Year holidays, medical assistance will be provided in full and on time, urging the population to seek medical care when necessary.
