Last year, the Issyk-Ata District Hospital received endoscopic equipment from Japan; however, it has been idle for a whole year, as reported by deputy Bakhridin Shabazov at a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh on February 5.

“Doctors are worried that the equipment may be confiscated if the situation does not change. It is not being used due to the lack of qualified specialists to operate it. Training is conducted at the NHC, but there is no similar equipment for practical training,” he noted.

In addition, the deputy pointed out the problem with the ambulance service in the Issyk-Ata district, where there are only 6-7 vehicles, and none of them are equipped with oxygen tanks. “We made a request for the purchase of oxygen tanks. If the situation does not get resolved, we may be able to address this through private sources,” Shabazov added.
