The Ministry of Health plans to develop liver transplantation at the NCODM and MHC named after M. Mamakeev.

The Deputy Minister of Health Bakytbek Kadyraliev announced plans to develop a liver transplantation program at the National Surgical Center named after M.M. Mamakeev and the National Center for Maternal and Child Health. This statement was made on February 24 at a meeting of the Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh, which deals with labor, health, women's affairs, and social issues.

Kadyraliev also noted that one liver transplant surgery was successfully performed at the Osh State University clinic.

Next month, the first liver transplant surgery for a patient is planned at the M.M. Mamakeev National Surgical Center.

In addition, the Ministry of Health has sent doctors to India for training to improve their qualifications, he added.
