Kassym-Jomart Tokayev commented on the attack by Iranian UAVs on the airport in Nakhchivan
In a statement made by the press secretary of the President of Kazakhstan, Aibek Smadiyarov, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev's position regarding the recent attack by Iranian drones on the airport in Azerbaijani Nakhchivan was voiced.
Smadiyarov emphasized that the president categorically condemns this act directed against the fraternal and allied state of Azerbaijan.
Furthermore, the Head of State expressed hope that Iran and Azerbaijan will jointly conduct a thorough investigation of the incident and find diplomatic ways to resolve the emerging conflict situation to avoid further escalation of tension in the region.
