Shailoobek Atazov, a former deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh, has been released on a signed undertaking not to leave, as confirmed by his relatives.

Atazov came into the spotlight after his detention in the fall of 2025, when he was suspected of organizing mass riots.

It was previously reported that another former deputy, Kubanychbek Kadyrov, has also been released from custody. Sources confirm this information.

Recall that on November 22, 2025, mass arrests took place. The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported the suppression of a group planning riots after the elections to the Jogorku Kenesh. During the operation, not only political figures and former deputies were detained, but also the son of former president Almazbek Atambaev.
