Employees of the state service, as well as the Internal Investigations Department of the State Penitentiary Service (GSIN) and the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVD), conducted an investigation and found that employees of IK-16, J.D., and a police officer from the First May District Internal Affairs Department, T.N., deceived an inmate in IK-1. According to the investigation's version, from December 2024 to April 2025, they received a significant sum of money from the convict, promising him assistance in obtaining a pardon. However, in the end, he was denied clemency.
This case has been registered under Article 204, Part 4, of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning fraud using official position.
The suspects have been placed in the temporary detention facility of the GKNB.
