The detained suspect attempted to commit suicide.
A woman was found murdered on the Bypass Road in the vicinity of Bishkek, as reported by the Main Internal Affairs Directorate. The suspect, who was detained, made an attempt to take his own life.
Information about the discovery of the body was received by law enforcement agencies on February 4 at 23:04.
The investigative-operational group of the First May District Internal Affairs Department promptly arrived at the scene, where they confirmed the presence of a body with clear signs of violent death.
Based on the incident, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 122 ("Murder") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The investigation established that the deceased was a citizen S.B., born in 2006.
As a result of operational-search activities, police officers quickly identified the suspect — citizen N.A., born in 2004. When they arrived at his home, he attempted to commit suicide by inflicting several stab wounds on himself. Thanks to a swift response, he received first aid, after which an ambulance team was called.
Currently, citizen N.A. is under guard in a medical facility.
Necessary forensic examinations have been appointed within the framework of the criminal case.
