The Investigative Committee of Russia reports that the attacker broke into the dormitory and injured students. The victims were hospitalized.
According to TASS, the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Irina Volk, noted that the number of injured is four, and their condition is assessed as stable. However, Telegram channels Baza and Mash claim that the number of injured could be up to six, including a dormitory security guard.
It is known that there are foreign students among the residents of the building.

During the arrest, the teenager resisted, resulting in two police officers sustaining knife wounds. The attacker also injured himself and was hospitalized in serious condition, according to TASS.
The Investigative Committee has initiated a criminal case under articles concerning the attempted murder of two or more persons, as well as the attempted murder of law enforcement officers.
