Citizen K. M. A., working as a calculation engineer at the Ak-Sui RES of the State Enterprise "NESC," was detained on suspicion of extorting a bribe, as reported by the State National Security Committee (GKNB).
As representatives of the GKNB found out, the suspect demanded money from entrepreneurs providing tourist services in the Ak-Sui region. She promised to reduce the amount of the fine imposed for the absence of a seal on the electricity meter in exchange for a monetary reward.
The detainee is currently in the temporary detention facility of the OVD Karakol, where she will remain for 48 hours.
