According to available information, a citizen named S. I. offered a monetary reward to the law enforcement officer in order to avoid criminal liability in a case that was under review.
In connection with this incident, a criminal case was initiated under Article 345 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning bribery.
During operational activities, officers of the Internal Investigations Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic detained S. I., born in 1973, at the moment of handing over a bribe of 100,000 soms in the office of the Investigative Department of the Bazar-Korgon District Department of Internal Affairs.
