Police officers successfully stopped the attempt to give a bribe. It was revealed that a citizen named S.I. took steps to illegally influence an employee of the investigative department by offering him a monetary reward in exchange for refraining from initiating a criminal case, in order to avoid responsibility for his actions.
In connection with these events, a criminal case was opened under Article 345 (Bribery) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to information obtained during operational work, employees of the Internal Investigations Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained S.I., born in 1973, at the moment he was handing over 100,000 soms as a bribe in the office of the Investigative Department of the Bazar-Korgon Department of Internal Affairs.
After the detention, the suspect was interrogated and placed in a temporary detention facility.
