“I urge President Sadyr Japarov, who is the guarantor of the Constitution, to intervene in this situation! If the construction company Central Asia Invest cannot even safely install a fence, how can they be trusted to build a 12-story building? In our village, on Kuyukov Street, 10, a shocking incident occurred. The fence fell on a house while people were sleeping inside. This could have turned into a tragedy. Heavy metal structures and concrete blocks fell on the residential building, the roof was damaged, and the fence was completely destroyed. Both adults and children could have been trapped under the rubble, especially considering that little ones were playing nearby. Additionally, there is a risk of damaging the gas pipe,” said the local resident.
He also added that according to the General Plan, construction of buildings higher than three stories is not permitted in this area.
“Nevertheless, contrary to the law, houses 12-14 stories high are being built here, in close proximity to residential buildings. People are in a state of constant danger. Where is the oversight? Why is the Ministry of Construction ignoring what is happening?” the local resident questioned.
