At midnight on February 22, an incident involving gunfire occurred on the secured grounds of Mar-a-Lago, owned by Donald Trump. U.S. Secret Service agents eliminated a man who illegally entered this restricted area. Around 1:30 AM, security noticed a suspicious figure at the north gate of the estate, who was carrying an object resembling a shotgun, as well as a container with flammable liquid.
As soon as the intruder crossed the secured perimeter, agents opened fire and delivered a fatal shot. Currently, law enforcement agencies are not disclosing the identity of the deceased. Official representatives of the Secret Service confirmed that at the time of the incident, no members of the Trump family or other protected individuals were present at the residence. According to reports, Donald Trump is in Washington this weekend.
Although Mar-a-Lago is Trump’s private property, its status requires round-the-clock monitoring by federal services. Investigators are currently working on-site to determine the reasons for the intruder's actions.
