
Previously, Kyrgyz citizens provided documents for their homes as collateral
The pawnshop "Orozaly" agreed to return the illegally seized real estate to citizens. This was reported by the press service of the GKNB.
Specialized authorities, including the GKNB, the Talas Tax Service, the regional office of the National Bank, and the Antimonopoly Regulation Service, conducted a series of activities during which the pawnshop acknowledged the validity of the claims made and the violations of Kyrgyzstan's legislation.
As a result, a residential house was returned to its former owner S.U.U. (the borrower), located in the Talas district. Additionally, 10 citizens received back the documents for their property, which had previously been used as collateral.
The management of the pawnshop expressed its readiness to compensate borrowers for the excessively charged interest exceeding 30% per annum, starting from the summer of 2024 to the present moment. Citizens can contact for resolution of issues in accordance with the established procedure.
The pawnshop "Orozaly" apologized to all affected individuals and committed to act strictly within the framework of the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic in the future.
