A junior lieutenant of the police has been detained
An employee of the Leninsky District Department of Internal Affairs of Bishkek, junior lieutenant R. u. M., was detained for the use of physical force. This information was provided by the State Committee for National Security (GKNB).
According to law enforcement agencies, the operation to detain was conducted jointly with the Internal Intelligence Service (SVR) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The events unfolded as follows: the district police officers, who brought citizen "L.T.D." to GOM No. 2 on charges of petty hooliganism, beat him "without visible reasons, seeking to demonstrate their power".
As a result of the beating, the victim was urgently hospitalized at the National Hospital, where he was prescribed inpatient treatment. An expert conclusion confirmed the presence of a closed traumatic brain injury (concussion) in L.D.T., as well as a closed spinal cord injury with fractures of two vertebrae and bruises of the soft tissues of the face and lower back.
On February 21, 2026, junior lieutenant of the police "R. u. M." was detained and placed in the temporary detention facility of the GKNB.
