According to the police, the incident occurred on the night of January 8 to 9. Between 11:30 PM and 4:00 AM, a group of people brutally beat the girl, born in 2009, for no apparent reason and subjected her to humiliations, including shaving her hair and eyebrows.
Due to the injuries sustained, the victim was taken to the Uzgen district hospital for medical assistance.
This case has been registered in the Unified Register of Crimes under Article 138 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning beatings and torture.
During the investigative actions, two suspects were detained, residing in the Bazar-Korgon and Suzak districts, born in 1988 and 2006. By the decision of the Manas city court, they have been placed in custody for one month.
The Department of Internal Affairs also added that one of the detainees had a previous conviction for hooliganism and fraud.
Investigative activities are ongoing.
