According to information from the agencies, the district police officers delivered a citizen, L. D. T., who was accused of petty hooliganism, to the Department of Internal Affairs No. 2. In the department, physical force was applied to him without justification.
As a result of the incident, the man sustained injuries and was urgently hospitalized in the National Hospital by an ambulance crew, where he was prescribed inpatient treatment.
An expert conclusion established that the victim suffered a closed traumatic brain injury, including a concussion, as well as closed spinal injuries with fractures of the transverse processes of two vertebrae, and soft tissue bruises on the face and lower back.
As part of the joint actions of the GKNB and MVD, junior lieutenant R. U. M. was detained and placed in the temporary detention facility of the GKNB of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Currently, investigative activities are ongoing to identify other officials involved in this case.
