Tokoldoshev will remain in pre-trial detention until April 15 and is suspected of committing a crime under Article 336, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic ("Corruption").
Since July 7, 2025, Colonel of Police Tokoldoshev had been heading the Internal Affairs Department of Balakchy, having previously served as the head of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Bishkek City Police.
As reported on February 23, he was relieved of his duties as head of the Internal Affairs Department of Balakchy by the decision of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan.
Earlier, a video appeared on the country's social media featuring photographs of athletes, employees of the State National Security Committee, businessmen, and police officers, whom the authors of the video associated with the group "40 choro," linked to former head of the State National Security Committee in Bishkek, Eldar Jakypbekov. Tokoldoshev was also among the mentioned individuals.
