The incident occurred on the night of March 7, when a 61-year-old man became a victim of an attack in the village of Kara-Zhyhach. His daughter contacted the Alamedin District Internal Affairs Department to report the incident.
During the preliminary investigation, it was revealed that the victim was visiting an acquaintance, where they began consuming alcohol. A conflict arose between them during the gathering.
The argument quickly escalated into a fight: the host struck his guest with a stick and then pushed him down the stairs into the yard, resulting in the victim losing consciousness. After that, the attacker fled without providing assistance.
As a result, a criminal case was initiated under Article 130 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic ("Causing serious harm to health").
Shortly thereafter, police officers detained the suspect, identified as I.A., born in 1964. He was placed in a temporary detention facility.
Investigative actions are ongoing.
