It became known that a resident of the capital, known by the initials Z.S., contacted the Internal Affairs Department of the Pervomaisky District for help regarding the actions of citizen A.I. Preliminary data indicates that on March 2, 2026, A.I. learned about the detention of Z.S.'s husband by the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) and began to threaten her with filing a complaint against him, blackmailing her by saying that this could worsen the situation.
During the investigation, it was revealed that A.I. demanded 50,000 dollars from Z.S. to avoid initiating criminal prosecution and taking further actions that could negatively affect her husband.
A criminal case was initiated in the Internal Affairs Department of the Pervomaisky District under Article 208 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic (extortion). As a result of operational measures, citizen A.I., born in 1971, was caught in the act while receiving 30,000 dollars from the victim Z.S.
The man was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility. The investigation is ongoing.
