Officials of the Tash-Kumyr mayor's office transferred land to relatives and affiliated persons

A scheme of illegal transfer of municipal land plots organized by the local mayor's office has been uncovered in Tash-Kumyr. The State Committee for National Security (SCNS) reported facts related to this activity, which affected significant land areas in cities and villages such as Shamalduu-Say, Tendik, Chuyut-Say, and Kyzyl-Alma in the NooKen district, which were previously part of Tash-Kumyr.

According to information provided by the SCNS, the vice-mayor of the city and the director of the Department of Municipal Property were the main figures in this scheme, which involved transferring plots to relatives and affiliated persons through fictitious auctions with artificially lowered prices.

As a result of these actions, significant damage was caused to the municipal budget.

The investigation also revealed facts of land allocation for commercial facilities in water protection and sanitary protection zones, which is a violation of environmental and urban planning norms.

On October 22, SCNS officers detained the vice-mayor of Tash-Kumyr K.N.A. and the director of the Department of Municipal Property K.U.A., placing them in a detention center.

Currently, investigative actions are ongoing. The SCNS is carrying out a comprehensive set of measures to uncover all circumstances of the case and hold all involved parties accountable.
