Reductions and shortages. What is the situation with teachers in Naryn?

In the Naryn region, within the framework of the "Altyn Kazyq" program, 222 teachers have been laid off, while at the same time there is a shortage of 16 educators. This was reported by Aydana Imanalieva, Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President, at a recent meeting summarizing the results of nine months of work.

The Deputy noted that this year, due to the transition to the "Altyn Kazyq" program, primary school teachers, as well as specialists in technology, physics, and the Kyrgyz language, were dismissed. At the same time, there is a severe shortage of history, physics, and chemistry teachers.

Currently, there are over 5,000 teachers in the Naryn region working with more than 60,000 students in 143 schools. Among them, 1,400 are retired, and 1,500 are graduates of evening and correspondence departments who are undergoing training in modern teaching methods.

Additionally, 25,023 children are registered in the region attending kindergartens, of which more than 16,000 receive education in educational institutions. Among the 8,446 children not attending kindergartens, 1,744 are in the electronic queue, and over 3,500 children are in migration conditions.

Imanalieva also added that to enhance the safety of children in educational institutions, video surveillance systems have been installed in 122 kindergartens and 140 schools.
