Over the past five years, 3.7 billion soms have been allocated under the State Investment Program. Additionally, international financial organizations have provided over $400 million in the form of concessional loans and grants. More than 400,000 residents of 130 villages already have access to quality drinking water. Construction is underway in 112 settlements, while project documentation preparation continues in 358.

He also noted the implementation of innovative technologies: in 11 cities and 4 large villages, treatment facilities are being designed using SCADA systems, new stations are equipped with energy-efficient pumps, and billing systems are being introduced. Laboratories and utility companies are receiving modern equipment. However, there is still a need to strengthen institutional capacity for the operation of water supply and sanitation systems in rural areas.
