This document is the result of the implementation of Article 139 of the Labor Code and defines the maximum allowable weight that the specified categories of workers can lift and move manually. The annexes to the resolution contain standards for minors and women.
It is important to note that the new rules are mandatory for all organizations, regardless of their ownership or area of activity.
This resolution also repeals two previous documents adopted in 2005 and 2012 that regulated similar standards.
The responsibility for monitoring compliance with these requirements is assigned to the authorized state body responsible for overseeing compliance with labor legislation.
The resolution will come into effect ten days after its official publication.
