This project was initiated by Mayor Zhenishbek Toktorbaev. As part of this initiative, 320 solar panels will be installed on the roof of the building, providing a total capacity of 100 kilowatts. These panels will cover an area of approximately 2,200 square meters.
According to preliminary estimates, the new system will be able to generate between 500,000 and 800,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity per year, which will save several million soms for the city budget annually.
The city hall emphasized that this project will not only help reduce financial costs but also lessen the load on the energy system of the southern capital, as well as promote the development of renewable energy sources.
