According to information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, new requirements have been established in accordance with Georgian legislation in the field of tourism. The mandatory presence of medical insurance applies to all purposes of travel, including tourist, business, and private visits. The policy can be issued by both local and foreign insurance companies and must be presented in Georgian or English, either electronically or in paper form.

The minimum amount of insurance coverage is at least 30,000 Georgian Lari (GEL). The insurance policy must contain information about all parties to the contract, the scope of coverage, terms, insurance risks, the amount of compensation, as well as the conditions and place of payment.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan strongly recommends that its citizens planning trips to Georgia familiarize themselves in advance with the new entry conditions. It is also important to consider possible additional requirements from airlines and border services. It is recommended to have medical insurance arranged before the trip and to keep documents in paper form, as they may be needed when going through border control.

Additionally, the Ministry reminds of the necessity to comply with immigration rules: having a valid foreign passport, a return ticket, and confirmation of accommodation booking is also mandatory. The agency emphasized that this information is explanatory and does not guarantee automatic entry into Georgia.
