According to information from the creators, KaniTTS operates three times faster and is up to ten times cheaper than existing TTS services, such as those from OpenAI, Google, and ElevenLabs.
The model is available under the Apache 2.0 license and is completely free. It can produce 15 seconds of speech in just one second using an NVIDIA RTX 5080 graphics card, making it accessible without the need for expensive cloud solutions. Since its launch, KaniTTS has been downloaded over 15,000 times on the Hugging Face platform and supports eight languages, including Kyrgyz, English, German, Korean, Arabic, Chinese, Spanish, and Japanese.
The organization of Kyrgyzstan's participation in CES 2026 was carried out with the support of the High Technology Park of the Kyrgyz Republic, which unites more than 500 residents and offers companies special tax conditions, legal support, and access to international markets, promoting the country as an export-oriented technology hub.
