Four citizens of Kyrgyzstan were deported from Mongolia, as reported by Deputy Attorney General Ümütkan Konkubayeva at a meeting of the Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh, which deals with issues of the judicial system, law enforcement, combating crime, and corruption.
During this meeting, a draft law on the ratification of the Extradition Treaty between the Kyrgyz Republic and Mongolia, signed in Bishkek on July 21, 2025, was discussed. This document establishes the legal framework for the extradition of convicted individuals so that they can serve their sentences in their home country.

Deputy Suyun Omurzakov inquired about the number of criminal cases initiated against citizens of Kyrgyzstan. In response, Konkubayeva noted that there was only one criminal case, which was closed due to lack of grounds for prosecution. She also clarified that the four citizens were deported for administrative offenses.

Additionally, Omurzakov mentioned a case where a Kyrgyz citizen became a victim of robbery in Mongolia and urged the Prosecutor General's Office to pay attention to such incidents. The Deputy Attorney General assured that the new treaty would allow for a more detailed consideration of such situations.
