At the meeting of the Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh on industrial policy, held on December 26, the chief architect of the general plan of Bishkek, Irina Grishechkina, emphasized that there are no schools in the capital that meet the standards and operate on a single shift.

“Children study in 3-4 shifts a day. The schools marked with red circles operate in 6 shifts,” she noted, adding that this situation poses a serious problem. Grishechkina also reported that the city authorities are working to resolve it.

Irina Grishechkina, who holds the position of Deputy Director of the Research Institute of Prospective Urban Development in St. Petersburg, is involved in the development of a new general plan for the capital of Kyrgyzstan.
