In the Naryn region, as part of the "Altyn Kazyq" program, 222 teachers have been laid off.

This information was announced at a meeting where the results of the socio-economic development of the region over the past nine months were discussed.

According to the provided data, educational institutions are experiencing a shortage of 16 teachers.

“This year, due to the transition to the 'Altyn Kazyq' program, primary school teachers, as well as subject teachers in technology, physics, and the Kyrgyz language, have been laid off. At the same time, there is a shortage of specialists in history, physics, and chemistry,” the meeting noted.

Currently, more than 60,000 students are studying in 143 schools in the region, taught by over 5,000 teachers. Of this number, about 1,400 teachers are of retirement age, and approximately 1,500 are graduates of distance learning programs. Currently, courses on new teaching methods are being organized for these educators.
