For comparison, on the same date in 2024, there were 7,799 cases registered, indicating a 1.5-fold increase in morbidity.

The largest number of cases involves children under 14 years old:
- children under 4 years old — 3,580 cases (30% of the total);
- children aged 5 to 14 years — 3,216 cases (27% of the total).
In connection with the worsening epidemiological situation, an extraordinary regional coordination meeting was held on December 8. According to protocol No. 5, daily monitoring is being conducted in educational institutions of the region. If the morbidity rate exceeds 20%, such institutions will switch to online learning format.
As of December 10, 2025, 39 educational institutions in the Talas region have already transitioned to distance learning, including:
- 2 lyceums,
- 21 schools,
- 16 kindergartens.
The distribution by districts is as follows:
the city of Talas — 13 institutions: 1 lyceum, 9 schools, and 3 kindergartens;
Talas District — 20 institutions: 1 lyceum, 9 schools, and 10 kindergartens;
Aitmatov District — 4 institutions: 3 schools and 1 kindergarten;
Bakay-Ata District — 2 institutions: 2 kindergartens.
All mentioned institutions plan to resume classes in the usual format on December 16.
