The World Bank is ready to support reforms both as an expert and financially
According to Edil Baisalov, Deputy Prime Minister, healthcare spending in Kyrgyzstan is expected to triple in the near future. This statement was made during a meeting with Hugh Riddell, the head of the World Bank office in the country.
He also emphasized that next year there will be a significant increase in salaries for medical workers. Additionally, substantial state investments are planned for the construction of modern medical infrastructure both in Bishkek and in other regions.
During the discussion, the parties touched upon healthcare reforms being implemented under the development program until 2030, approved by President Sadyr Japarov.
The World Bank confirmed its readiness to support these reforms with expertise and financial resources.
