According to the press service of the Ministry of Natural Resources, the agenda included issues of strategic partnership and opportunities for deepening cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the World Bank in the field of sustainable development.
During the meeting, special attention was given to aspects such as improving air quality, enhancing climate resilience, and implementing the project "Improving Air Quality in the Kyrgyz Republic," which is funded by the World Bank. Ways to strengthen cooperation in promoting the Mountain Agenda were also discussed.
Minister Mashiev emphasized that the ministry is actively working on the preparation and adoption of a draft law on climate activities, which will create the necessary legal and economic mechanisms to ensure the country's transition to sustainable and low-carbon development.
