
In accordance with the decision aimed at protecting nature and safeguarding rare plant species, the temporary ban concerns the following plants:
macrothomia, arnebia, ash tree, aconite, Aflatun onion, rhodiola, Samarkand everlasting, Olga's beetle, long-stemmed beetle, columnar beetle, and Chimgan beetle.
The following actions fall under the ban:
collection and processing; purchase and sale; transportation and use; export outside the country.
The main objective of the new ban is to protect the natural stocks of wild plants, prevent the depletion of their root systems, and avoid disruptions in their natural habitats.
In connection with the introduction of this decree, the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic has suspended the issuance of permits for the harvesting of prohibited plants for both legal entities and individuals.
