Orozbaev noted that the average price per kilogram of meat on the bone in Kyrgyzstan is 680 soms. For comparison, in neighboring countries, the prices are as follows:
- Kazakhstan — 650 soms;
- Russia — 1,025 soms;
- Armenia — 950 soms;
- Belarus — 925 soms;
- Uzbekistan — 1,040 soms;
- Tajikistan — 1,150 soms.

Jenaly Orozbaev also pointed out an interesting fact: despite the fact that the average salary in Uzbekistan is lower than in Kyrgyzstan, meat prices there are higher. In contrast, in Kazakhstan, where salary levels are higher, the cost of meat on the bone is lower than in Kyrgyzstan.
