The amount that the "Google tax" brought to Kyrgyzstan's budget in 2025 has been announced

According to data from the Ministry of Finance, from January to December 2025, revenues from the value-added tax on electronic services provided by foreign companies, known as the Google tax, amounted to 1 billion 278.2 million soms. This is 568 million 916.8 thousand soms more than in 2024.

Since January 1, 2022, according to the Tax Code, all foreign enterprises offering electronic services are required to pay a value-added tax (VAT) of 12% on the value of the services rendered. In 2024, revenues from the "Google tax" amounted to 709.3 million soms. The State Tax Service reported that the companies "Yandex Go," Megogo, and Xsolla have already completed remote tax registration in the tax service's electronic system.
