Open Central Asia: Kyrgyzstan proposed to create a unified tourist brand

Today in Bishkek, within the framework of the business forum "B5+1: Central Asia - USA," Erdenet Kasymov, the director of the tourism department of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, presented his concept for uniting the region into a single tourist destination.

He noted that the integration of the tourism sector can significantly accelerate the economic development of all Central Asian countries.

According to Kasymov, for travelers from the USA, Europe, and Asia, this region is perceived as a whole. International tourism companies are showing interest in combined tours that cover three to five countries along the Silk Road. In this regard, Kyrgyzstan offers the Open Central Asia concept, which is intended to complement existing national brands.

Kasymov also emphasized that the success of the entire region depends on the level of service at every stage of the journey, and the development of transport infrastructure is critically important for increasing the flow of tourists, as noted in the Ministry of Economy's statement.
