It is expected that by 2025, the harvest of tropical fruits will exceed seven thousand tons.

In the Batken region, the implementation of new agronomic technologies related to the cultivation of citrus fruits has begun. Specialists from the Kadamjai and Batken districts are actively engaged in the breeding of mandarin, lemon, and orange seedlings.

According to experts, successful experiments have allowed for the adaptation of tropical fruits to local conditions. If in 2023 the area under citrus cultivation was approximately 800 hectares, it is planned to increase it to 1052 hectares by 2025.

Last year, farmers harvested 7149 tons of tropical produce.

This project aims to enhance diversity in agriculture and implement modern technologies.
