How many Kyrgyz citizens have imposed a self-ban on borrowing?
According to information provided by the regulator, from the introduction of this feature until February 6, 2026, 173,904 people activated the self-ban on obtaining loans through the "Tunduk" mobile application.
Bektur Aliev, Deputy Chairman of the National Bank, previously emphasized that the implementation of this mechanism contributes to the protection of citizens' rights and interests, as well as their financial independence. This measure allows individuals to control their credit data and set a "digital lock" on their name at any time. Furthermore, it enables citizens to make more informed decisions.
