As Aseynov noted, in 2025, the city budget received 25 million 181 thousand soms from parking lots and 27 million 251 thousand soms from parking garages.
“In total, considering all parking lots and garages, including guest and rotary parking, as well as garages, the total revenue amounted to 82 million 868 thousand soms. The cost of one parking space for citizens is 25 soms,” he reported.
Deputy Kazybek Ergeshov added that in large markets, the fee is 50 soms.
Aseynov also noted that the official price is set at 25 soms.
“Nevertheless, there is a problem with charging a higher fee. We regularly go to the sites and draw up reports. To solve this problem, we are implementing digitalization and starting to use QR codes in municipal parking lots to eliminate the human factor. These technologies have already been launched on five streets — Turoosbekov, Bezymyannaya, Orozbekov, Ibraimov, and Togolok Moldo. This year we plan to install them on Shopokov Street as well,” he explained.
Kazybek Ergeshov emphasized that Shopokov Street generates the highest income.
