In 2025, 320 licenses were revoked in Kyrgyzstan in the field of subsoil use due to various violations. This became known at a meeting of the board of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision.

“In the last five years, systemic reforms have been carried out in the industry, which has strengthened state control. In 2024-2025, 8 major projects were launched, and in 2025, 105 new licenses were issued. Currently, there are 2014 active licenses in the country,” the ministry representatives noted.

According to the information, over 217.9 billion soms were received in the budget over the five-year period, which is an increase of 3.5 times. In 2025, a record amount of revenue was recorded — 65.4 billion soms.

This year, 40 auctions for licenses were held, bringing in over 105 million soms to the budget.

“In 2025, 5749 cases of environmental violations were identified. As a result, damages amounting to 143.2 million soms were compensated. A state enterprise 'Ekooperator' was also established, which received 74 million soms in the form of recycling payments,” the ministry added.
