The main goal of the meeting was to thoroughly discuss preparations for the upcoming Meeting of Ministers and Heads of Relevant Agencies of the SCO states. Participants worked on the draft agenda, agreed on the format of the event, and resolved key organizational issues.
Special attention was given to coordination mechanisms in the field of phytosanitary safety in the region. Participants noted that strengthening direct contacts between the quarantine services of the countries would allow for more effective experience sharing and prompt responses to emerging threats.
Such meetings within the framework of the SCO are an important tool for promoting regional cooperation. They not only simplify interaction between various agencies but also contribute to the development of coordinated approaches to plant protection, which directly impacts the sustainability of the agricultural sector in all partner countries.
