Weekly fairs organized by local producers continue in Bishkek and other regions of the country. The Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic has announced that the schedule for these events is planned until June 2026.
The ministry's press service emphasizes that, to date, food supplies in the country are sufficient, and there is no shortage of essential goods. The fairs held on designated days help provide the domestic market with quality products at prices lower than market rates, while also supporting socially vulnerable groups of the population.
In the capital, the fairs take place every Saturday and Sunday with the support of the Bishkek city administration. The venues for these events are located at the following addresses:
T. Usubaliev Square (intersection of I. Razzakov and Abdymomunov streets);Erkindik Boulevard (Pervomaisky District);Embankment in the Vostok-5 microdistrict.
Organizers remind participants of the need to strictly adhere to established rules: products must meet sanitary and hygienic standards, and price tags on the counters are mandatory. Participants must also have letters from the district agricultural administration to confirm their producer status.
This approach to trading without intermediaries helps effectively control price increases and maintain stability in the country's food market.
