As of February 27, 2026, work on plowing and sowing is actively underway in the republic:
- A total of 29,664 hectares have been plowed across the country, with the largest regions being Osh region (17,768 hectares), Chui region (9,749 hectares), and Jalal-Abad region (2,147 hectares).
- The area sown with spring cereal crops is 5,547 hectares.
- The wheat sowing amounts to 2,466 hectares, of which 1,510 hectares are in Osh region, 850 hectares in Chui region, and 106 hectares in Jalal-Abad region.
- Barley has been sown on 3,081 hectares (1,318 hectares in Chui region, 996 hectares in Osh region, and 767 hectares in Jalal-Abad region).
- Potatoes have been planted on 189.7 hectares (mainly in Jalal-Abad region), and vegetables on 5 hectares (in Osh region).
