In Kyrgyzstan, it is planned to sow more than 1.2 million hectares with agricultural crops.
Farmers who focus on these crops should apply drip and sprinkler irrigation. The state supports the implementation of efficient irrigation methods by providing subsidies and low-interest loans.
Monitoring of the situation shows that with the increase in livestock numbers in the republic, the demand for sowing fodder crops such as barley and corn is growing.
Turatbek Idrisov also emphasized the importance of preparation before the start of spring fieldwork:
- conduct a soil analysis;
- apply mineral fertilizers according to established norms;
- check the quality of seeds;
- conduct an examination to assess the feasibility of sowing a specific crop.
Specialists from the Ministry of Water Resources and Agriculture remind that future yields depend on the quality of soil preparation and the seed fund.
